At APK Guide (https://apk-guide.org), we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. This Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) Policy outlines our process for handling copyright infringement claims.

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that content hosted on our website infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice as described below.

1. Copyright Infringement Notification

To file a DMCA notice with us, you must provide a written communication that includes all the following information (as per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed, along with enough information for us to locate the material (e.g., direct URL).
  4. Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. How to Submit a DMCA Notice

Once we receive a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of your request.
  • Investigate and remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • Notify the affected user or content provider about the removal.
  • Provide them an opportunity to file a counter-notification if they believe the removal was a mistake.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was wrongly removed under the DMCA, you may file a counter-notice that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your area, or if outside the U.S., the jurisdiction where the service provider is located.
  5. That you will accept service of process from the original complainant.

We will forward the counter-notification to the original complainant and restore the content if no legal action is filed within 10–14 business days.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

APK Guide reserves the right to terminate user access to the site for repeated or blatant copyright infringements.
